Vintage WWII 1943 48 Star U.S. Flag with Eagle hanger by The Flag in Every Home Committee. Flag measures approximately 32” x 18”. Original box is in fair condition. The flag has a stain, possibly from a metal pin, in the top right corner. Eagle has a few darker marks. Still holds the flag securely! Really unique item designed to promote patriotism.
The Flag in Every Home Committee was organized to “effect the more universal display of the Flag of the United States of America.” To get it up in 25,000,000 more homes and offices, or wherever men and women, boys and girls play, work, meet, debate and discuss.
