Beautiful early 1900s vintage blue and white salt glaze stoneware pitcher with a 2-sided center medallion around a pair of bluebirds on a branch. A rope and scroll design surrounds the top lip and bottom base of the pitcher. The textured pitcher has a white glaze base and interior, with a blue salt glaze in shades of medium to deep blue. A versatile decorative piece for storing spoons/utensils, floral as a vase or dairy pitcher. No makers mark. Very good condition, no chips or cracks.
Measures: 8 ½” H x 5” diameter at top, 6” diameter at base, 2 ½” wide handle
