This is 9th generation seed that I recently found renewed interest in due to its disease resistance and high yield.
The actual Kumato is bilocular (2 lobes) but this is a variety I was able to create having 3-4 lobes. There is not additional difference minus this attribute change.
Germ rate: 100%
Germ time: 2-7 days.
This plant does particularly well in a greenhouse environment but produces just as well outside. It is drought and disease resistant and a rather slow grower. Its an indeterminate and will continue to produce until frost.
Aphids tend to stay away from it which is a plus.
